Tour de Frukt 2020 is Fruktstereoโs first Swedish rendition of their long collaboration with the super talented winemaker and our dear friend,ย [Come Isambert](https://omada.wine/winemaker/come-isambert/). The Tour de Fruit project started back in 2017 when Karl & Mikael from Fruktstereo went foraging in the Loire valley with Cรดme for wild pears, apples and blended it with wine from his cellar. Since then it has been an annual co-lab project, but due to the pandemic they had to do a Swedish only version for 2020. They wanted to pay homage to Cรดme so they kept the name, but changed it from โfruitโ to โfruktโ to make it more Swedish.
This sparkling fruit wine (Fruit Pรฉt-Nat) is made with 90% apples (Kim and Ingrid Marie) and 10% Solaris grapes. During fermentation the batch underwent a three week long maceration on the grapeskin.
The main part of the fruit is grown and harvested in Axelstorp โ a traditional orchard in northwestern Skรฅne. Planted in the 1940s and today managed without pesticides or herbicides by Magnus Nilsson. The grapeskins come from Hรคllรฅkra, Klagshamn and Flyinge, all local grape farmers with a natural growing approach.
Fermented with indigenous yeast. Unfiltered and without additives. Disgorged in January 2022.
