Cider Revolution 2020 is Fruktstereo’s signature cider. The origin of the fruit is 30% Haväng, an old orchard planted back in the 1940’s right by the Baltic Sea on the east coast of Skåne in the Verkeån nature reserve, and 70% surplus fruit from local growers in Österlen and northern Skåne. It’s the kind of cider that’s made for drinking but at the same time has a lot of different layers and depth. It’s light and fresh yet demanding and complex. Sugar and salt together with lush fresh fruit and high volatile acidity.
Píetre 2019 is a mineral, fresh white that’s as clean as mountain air. And there’s a reason this: the Falanghina and Malvasia di Candia grapes used to make this wine are planted on a South-West facing slope at high altitude. The grapes are pressed after a few days’ skin contact and left to rest on their lees in steel tanks. The combination of this kind of mountain climate/terroir and Antonio Gismondi’s gentle vinification is exactly what gives Piétre its mineral, fresh and almost salty aftertaste, not to mention its beautiful hazy colour.
Les Vacances 2020 is made from grapes harvested from a vineyard situated on a hillside with an altitude of 150-300 meters where the soils are relatively poor and sandy and on a plain with 150 meters altitude where the soils are more rich and deep with limestone and clay. A short macerated on Carignan in whole bunches and directly pressed Grenache creates a luminous and astonishingly easy-drinking red wine. According to Valentin Letocquart this wine is Val de Combrés’ equivalent to grenadine. And really, it’s that easy to drink!

Lunatic 2020 is made from one of Cédric Garreau’s oldest plots of land with an underground dominated by schist. And believe us, Lunatic is no ordinary Loire-Chenin. The grapes for this cuvée were pressed directly and left to rest on the gross lees for a year on old barriques. This creates a Chenin with body, fruit and texture and a crisp, mineral finish.
Beaujolais Villages 2021 is made from a vineyard planted with 100-150 year-old Gamay, a plot of land that Xavier Benier inherited from his grandfather back in 2003. He claims that this is one of his most reliable vineyards, because the grapes always ripen early and never cause him any troubles during the vinification process. And this is the reason why he is able to make perfectly natural Beaujolais Nouveau and have it ready by the end of October, every year!
Pét-nat rosé 2020 is a fruity, dark rosé pét-nat made on the old German bulk-variety Dornfelder. Piri pressed the grapes directly in whole bunches and fermented the wine in old Tonneau barrels before bottling the wine with a little bit of residual sugar in order for it to become a sparkling wine. Let’s call it new wave German Lambrusco!
