Hot Sauce – Kandy Spices
The Hot Sauce from Kandy Spices is made from fermented habanero chili, handcrafted in Denmark in small batches and contains no additives of any kind.
The flavor is fresh, strong, and balanced, with a hint of umami from tomato. It pairs well with many dishes featuring meat, eggs, vegetables, fish, shellfish, and oysters, and also works beautifully in drinks such as a Bloody Mary.
For each batch of hot sauce, Kandy Spices carefully select the chili peppers and ferment them for a minimum of 28 days before blending them with the remaining ingredients and bottling the finished sauce. The fermentation adds extra depth and aroma, balancing the sharp heat of the chilies.
This hot sauce is ideal for dishes with meat, eggs, vegetables, and shellfish, as well as a seasoning for pizza, pasta, and sandwiches.
