Britney’s Pears 2020. “Gimme, gimme more”! That’s what you should be thinking after the first taste of this pear based ultra funky and electric cuvee. Britney’s pears is made from 80% pears (Alexander Lucas and Conference) and 20% apples (Aroma) to keep the cider focused and balanced. Consisting mostly of pears, this cuvée retains more residual sugar than the rest of Fruktstereo’s ciders, which makes the cuvée very fruity and easy to drink.
The 2020 cuvee consists of 80% Alexandre Lucas and Conference pears, gathered from different local growers and producers, that’s all fermented together in glass fiber tanks. After the fermentation, they store it for a while before blending in 20% direct pressed Aroma apples to balance out the pears’ sweetness and funky aroma. They also do this to get enough sugar for the bottle fermentation.
Fermented with indigenous yeast, no filtration and no additives.
