Beaujolais Villages 2023 is made from a vineyard planted with 100-150 year-old Gamay, a plot of land that Xavier Benier inherited from his grandfather back in 2003. He claims that this is one of his most reliable vineyards, because the grapes always ripen early and never cause him any troubles during the vinification process. And this is the reason why he is able to make perfectly natural Beaujolais Nouveau and have it ready by the end of October, every year!
